CUSTOMER CONSULTATIVE SUCCESS STORY

As we launched debit card processing for one of our largest lending customers, we quickly identified that a substantial number of transactions were being declined. Through our deep payments experience, understanding of transaction flows, and knowledge of industry trends, we hypothesized a reason for the steep decline rate and designed analytics to ultimately prove our theory.

Over several months we closely monitored the decline rate, comparing it to similar portfolios.  We also closely matched the decline reasons and methods of transaction origination being practiced by our client.  We slowly began shifting the origination methods and decisioning in the Loan Management System to account for certain decline conditions and ceased the origination of transactions that where highly likely to decline.

After we had successfully shifted and updated the origination paradigms, 

we helped our client reduce the number of monthly transaction attempts by nearly 300,000. 

This translated into $30,000 in monthly processing cost reduction, a lower risk profile, and an improved fraud prevention and management landscape.

She has been in the financial services industry for 11 years, and with the company two years, managing many product lines and initiatives that drive financial results.
